Where is everyone mounting zl1 adding lift points ?
Searched everywhere. Rears are obvious. Only one cutout of the plastic rockers. The front of the car has 2 cutouts in the plastic where they can be mounted. I'm thinking the one closest to the front wheel (by aluminum brace in pic). Trying not to overthink this

Yes, mount them on the forward mounts. Use the middle points to lift the car with your floor jack.

I'll be using the addons to lift with a floor Jack. I'm assuming either of the front cutouts work fine but just wanted to know what others did Unless you're saying to get the car up to mount the lift points, jack the car from the middle point?

If you're just doing a quick lift, yes, you can use the front with a floor jack. If you're going to put the car on jackstands, use the middle cutout (I use a ZL1 mag pad) to get the car in the air, and put the jackstands under the ZL1 "permanent" mounted pads on the front.

So sounds like everyone is putting them different places and they all work.

For those with ZL1s, and have used them, do the pads drop low enough? I haven't installed mine yet and just kind of stuck them in place to get a quick unofficial visual. Didn't seem like the dropped lower than the side skirt....so will still be tricky using a floor jack.
