Where is SLP?

I know a lot of people may not like slp products but I'm a fan and I like options. They were big in the 4th and 5th gen worlds but what about 6th gen? I don't see any products from them for our cars. Am I missing something? Are they working on products? What's the deal?

I was wondering the same thing the other day. My money says that they are in development.

i asked them a few weeks back on their loudmouthexhaust instagram but all they told me was " we're working hard in getting more systems out! As of now we have our 2016+ muffler delete axlebacks available on slponline.com" then i asked them if they were doing anything with the npp system but i got no reply this was about 9 weeks ago

Hmm? That's too bad. Most aftermarket companies are eager to get there products out there. I hope there not going under!

I too like their parts. My 1998 SS had a lot of their parts as well as my 2010 SS. They are OEM quality parts IMO!! Since SLP is owned by Roush Performance that might be a reason that they are slow in developing parts for the new Camaro and Corvette. Roush bought out SLP a few years ago.

They have been called SVE for a while now: http://specialtyvehicleengineering.com

Not like they used to be at all...I had a few SLP cars back in the day too.

True but their parts division is under Roush now. The speciality vehicles division is separate from the parts sales. More than likely we will see some of the parts they are developing for the SVE vehicles to be offered in the parts sales. My 2010 SS might as well have been an SLP car because of all the parts I got for it!

I had no idea the they were under a different ownership now. I guess I've been out of the game too long.

Yes the SLP parts is located in Michigan and the SVE operation is in Toms River, NJ where all of the SLP operation used to be located. Hamburger has SVE and Roush owns the parts business.

HSV currently has my 16 SS on loan for EPA emissions testing of their supercharger kit. They installed the kit and then sent the car to California for emissions testing to get the kit 50 state legal certified. It's advertised on their website as a 610hp kit at the crank.
In the mean time I've got a new Jeep Wrangled on loan that they built with West Coast Customs. It has a custom wrap, wheels, interior accents, custom leather seats and matching halo lighting. Oh, and of course, their signature supercharger kit rated at 400hp at the crank on the 3.6L
