2016 Convertible?

Hello all.... First time writing on this forum.

I cant stand the anticipation any longer. I was just about to purchase a 2015 2SS convertible back in May but someone told me to wait a couple weeks to see the revealing of the 2016, I was instantly drawn back and wanted to wait. I know I wont really be able to enjoy it until Aprilish but I want it now.

Can anyone tell me when they will be available to order?

Order is one thing, they're supposedly not shipping for about 6+ months, maybe longer.
I'm sure they'd be happy to take your money earlier than that.

I scour the net weekly for news, as it's what I'm planning on getting and I haven't seen anything but "available for order Spring of '16" for both I4 and 'verts.

I did see orders for converts could be entered in February 2016 but can not recall where I saw that.

Welcome to the club... but just think how awesome it's going to be

I've been waiting since last Spring to get a new toy, so another 3-4 months should be no biggie! You can do it!

Pretty sure it was Autoblog, so take that for what it's worth.

Hard to say how much the 'vert will sticker for, but GENERALLY speaking, you can likely add 4-5K to the price of a hardtop to get you a ballpark idea. It could be less, could be more. But that's usually been the case lately.

I won't be able to pull up an article for confirmation, but I spoke with one of the Chevy engineers during the Finding New Roads tour in San Jose and they told me they will start the convertible orders in February. If you listen to the Camaro Show Chris Frezza was told by one of the Chevy engineers that they will have another Finding New Roads tour for the 4 cylinder and the convertible in March. Again can't quote an article but we both heard this information at the same Finding New Roads stop by the same Chevy engineers. So expect the Feb. to March time frame.

'bout time!

Although I'm 99% sure I'm going to get a C7 instead, I'm still keeping a keen eye on Gen 6 news.
