How? It's not stupid loud and annoying. It sounds very similar to the engine in the ATS V (although I'm pretty sure they are very similar besides the Camaro having no turbos). Most 6 cylinder engines sound very similar, but they aren't "ricey" (unless it has a cheap and obnoxious exhaust and is owned by a "ricer").

It's very difficult to get a sense of the sound through a video. I have watched all the camaro videos; V6, V8 with NPP and without.

While I haven't heard the v6 in person I have heard the V8. And it is knock your socks off loud and mean.

If the NPP V6 sounds even half as bad ass as the LT1 with NPP then it's a home run and will be the best sounding v6 on the streets (stock).

And, based on the information previously released by GM the NPP exhaust was developed for the V6.

Very nice sounding V6, I would be more than happy with that car.

All these "V8" guys cant admit that a V6 sounds really nice?

Getting the stock 5th gen V6 exhaust to sound like the 6th gen NPP was a struggle. (although the LLT with LT headers and an exhaust to tame it down, I still think takes the cake)

My advice after being there, done that....NPP on the V6 is the way to go.

Also, the standard V6 seems to sound nice as well...just throwing that out there.

It sounds like an eclipse or accord. You can youtube videos of those cars and close your eyes and listen to them. They all sound like the same raspy ricer

Open your ears...my wife had an eclipse years ago. Big difference, especially at low and mid rpms.

Anyway...V6 guys....just learn to brush off these types of comments. There will be plenty.

Stars_fan,
Will you be ordering a 2016 Camaro?

I ordered the 2LT V6 RS as my first ever Camaro. I believe and I'M sure that you will agree with me that the new 6th gen V6 which puts out 335 hp and does 0-60 in 5.1 seconds with the automatic has plenty of power.

Bro don't let these "V8 fanboys" ruin your way of thinking.
I think they're kidding because there is no way this car sound like an accord.its more like a M4 or 911 lol.
if you ask me I think it sounds amazing and it kinda reminds me of the v6 F-TYPE....aggressive and raspy.
this car got a lot of juice and it will crush a lot of rumbling v8s out there.
good luck and enjoy your car

Sounds great to me. As the V8s are becoming less affordable they've done a heck of a job making the V6 Camaros more desirable. I would love to have one as a daily driver to compliment my 1LE.
