Honestly they should probably update it to look more like a 69 Model, with 3 Slotted headlights, actual Dove tail spoiler stock Taillights similar to the European version. Maybe a little bit of panel updates. The thing is what if Ford redesigns the Mustang into the mid 70's Mustang II level and it is dubbed hideous and no sales. Would GM really want to jump ship at that point. Smart money would be to prepare 2 possible design's 1 complete & 1 update. See what for Ford does then bring out the next Camaro the year after.

I'm not at my computer, but there is a green concept out there that has some potential. If anyone knows the one I'm speaking of can you post the pics? Not perfect but on the right track I think. Looks to be smaller and a bit lighter.
