So sorry all you southern and east coast people having a dreadful winter. Sad to say you are all having a much worst snowfall winter then here in Ontario Canada.
Here in Ontario, snowfall about typical, nothing extreme to post about. However, in Ottawa, Feb. was the coldest recorded in history...average Feb. temp. 3 F not including wind chill factor that at times recorded -30 F. Only last Tuesday did we have a high temp of 32 F since last November. My past week I will put in the plus column. Ramses, my overweight cat had a good week with health issues. I worry each day his health will deteriorate and I will lose him. Plus side, finished with all the mindless mid-term reporting of my students. Plus side, received my current insurance appraisal for my 1966 Bird conv., way above what I had it insured for. Therefore, my Bird replacement value increased and I adjusted replacement value with my insurance agent. Good to know I am not underwater on what I have spent on a 49-year old car...yet. Another 4-6 weeks and hopefully we are all in Spring and driving washed autos. I already have my appointment booked to get my Camaro fully detailed 3rd week of April, after April rains wash away all the winter road salt. My auto detailing service sends out a message in mid Feb. to book detailing appointments. If you do not reserve an appointment within 48 hours, you might not get your auto detailed until late summer. My detailing service is that good. Cold in Ottawa, but all is good in my life. |

We are still snow covered but most roads are better. It is 25 degrees this morning & supposed to get up to 50! So that should take care of most of the snow. I have a few chores this morning. Then ordering my springs as I finally found a local place I trust who quoted me a fair price for installation, timing the bushings & alignment. Then paying my fees for the full 3 day track experience at the Fest! Wooo Hooo! Happy Saturday crew.

Running a few errands this morning since we were up and out early to drop of our long haired Dachshund for his haircut. Then I will spend some time this weekend and next cleaning the house because after that I will be having my surgery and won't be able to do any physical work for at least two weeks. Tomorrow we are going to a Garth Brooks concert. We have great seats for that 6th row floor. My wife is more of a fan than I am but I heard he does put on a good show.

It would appear that even after 3 weeks of below freezing temps, my last minute, 5 min effort to cover my crocus, buttercups & other emerging spring bulbs, using pine needles stolen from around my Maple tree, actually worked. Here they are pretty much in the same state they were when I buried them. Hopefully they will now get to bloom & be pretty.

You drive the best color there is IBM. So I won't say up yours for that comment. But please enjoy your ride and keep your personnel top down.

Good Sunday morning. It was nice to get out of the house yesterday. Apparently everyone else in middle Tennessee felt the same was. Every place we went was very crowded & the roads were like rush hour all day. Cabin fever is a terrible thing. I got my Fest fee paid for all 3 track days. We did a little shopping & I uncovered my spring bulbs. It was so nice not having to be bundled up head to toe. It got up to around 55 but it felt almost like 75. Today not much on tap except going to check on my dad. Have a nice day crew.

Jan, been following your build. Just a word of advice. You use your Camaro as a daily driver. When you make alterations to your suspension expect daily driving handling and comfort to change. Do you want a track auto or a daily driver.
