If he's not getting boost, putting on a dyno is just an expensive way to say someone screwed up. Solve the problem first.

Does the gauge work for vacuum? The needle does move? But just won't go past "0"? If so, then the gauge works and something is amiss under the hood.

But putting it on the dyno it
will prove whether the boost is there or not thus helping with the troubleshooting process.

If the dyno confirms the boost is there but the gauge isn't showing it, then we'd know the gauge isn't working properly. If the dyno shows no boost, then it proves he'd have to look elsewhere for the problem.

Can't fix the problem until you know where the problem lies, and the dyno would help point you in the right direction.

I could figure out if he had boost or not in 5 minutes without a dyno. It's not hard. I'm guessing the boost bypass valve is not connected or mal-adjusted.

Or the 3 vacuum lines to the boost bypass valve are mixed up.

Where in Texas do you live? If you do not feel a difference with a LPE 650 kit your boost is getting bled off. It looks like Bryan is on track with a fix if you are mechanically savvy and if you are not you should take your car back to the shop that did the work on it and tell them to fix it, or just find another competent mechanic and have him sort out someone else's mistake. Good luck.

True. Still only 9 miles on my '08 GT500 and 8 miles on my '13 ZL1 and though I run them both for at least a half hour every couple of weeks I have never seen either boost gauge register any positive pressure.

1. does the boost guage show vacum or move at all

if yes check bypass valve

in no check gauge

my gut says if your not building boost your bypass valve is not funtioning correctly. force it close if you have to which will cost you some milage but you should notice and instant increase in power if it is bleeding off you boost.

I was thinking the same thing. it's probably something under the hood. It does move, so it obviously works for Vacuum but just won't move past zero when it should be putting out near 15.

That's probably my best shot, and I'm not taking it to the same place for sure. At least not for any performance work. I had problems from the beginning with this kit. I'm gonna check out Lethal Performance, and get a second opinion there. Thanks man.

Some really good advice on here and after reading this I did go out and try mine and it definitely had no problem almost pegging the needle with boost so you should be getting something on the gauge. Good luck and please make sure you let us know how it works out for you.
