Here's a little video. My friend is in the Vette in front of me. I wasn't allowed to really open it up because I don't have a 5 pt harness, roll bar, etc. But it was cool to go 90-100 most of the time (and a bit higher during the back straight...)
I was really pleased with how the car handled at those speeds. http://youtu.be/uS8SeFDHGZI

Nice. But I bet after doing enough laps on that oval racetrack, the first thing you want to do when back out on the street with your Camaro...is turn right.

right turns were nice after that.
I asked my friend if he would go up in the stands and video me doing donuts in the grass while I waved a checkered flag, but apparently that wasn't allowed either.

If you're near Vegas, you can take your car on the track on this Sunday, 1/26.
$30 for 3 laps, $20 for 3 more, $10 for your picture in victory lane. All money going to charity. http://lasvegas.speedwaycharities.or...s_for_charity/ Yeah, the limit you to 75 MPH, but you still get a chance to see what the banked turns feel like.

Doesn't matter how fast you're going, it's still a blast. I did 5 laps in the Camaro at Pocono Raceway a couple of years ago.

This wasn't as fun as the first time because it was really crowded. But there were so many beautiful cars to look at today. I was a little intimidated when an Audi R8 pulled up behind me. People brought everything to drive, sedans, minivans, pickups, motorcycles, trikes, tow trucks, even an 18 wheeler.
When I got in line for a second set of laps, I was behind...a Coca-Cola delivery truck. Fortunately the guy was real cool and let us pass. Here's an awesome video of 6.2L of Chevy Power going past a Coke truck on the racetrack. http://youtu.be/lDRvOuHl4AU
