Recall 2012 Camaro

I received a recall notice in the mail and they did a software upgrade today at the dealership something to do with a warning light and air bags. Glad it was covered and didn't take too long.

Yep. Had my car done a few weeks back. And it does not effect your custom tune ie. lock out your SCT programer. It is a BCM update not a EMC.

Had my 2012 done at the first oil change. The dealer I brought it to took care of it. I have paperwork if people want to see it.

Princess1,

Delighted to hear that this recall was taken care of for you at the dealer. How are you enjoying the vehicle?

Also, for everyone else, I am able to research any recalls for anyone interested in knowing if their vehicle is affected. You are more than welcome to message me anytime.

Got my notice a little over a year ago, but still haven't had it taken care of.

IIRC, there was a time limit on it. couple years or something.
