Am I not doing this right?

I know with Trifecta you can get rid of the CEL by going in and disabling the codes. I do this then within a day or two the CEL comes back on for the same code. Is there a way to permanently disable the CEL from popping up? it keeps throwing my Header codes

After you uncheck the box for those codes hit ok and then you have to flash your tune again or those codes are not disabled

Well that would make sense. Wasn't sure if I had to do that or not since the CEL would go away after unchecking the boxes. Thank you both!

The reason they went away temporarily is because you effectively erased them. The system has to complete a drive cycle before it will recode.

Anyway, you got your answer from the poster above.
