For those interested in talking even more about the new Corvette, we've just launched Corvette7.com as a fun side project.

It's still in beta mode and the forum hasn't received its final 'skin' yet, but for those looking to be an early member (or to reserve your username), please come check it out and join in the early discussions.

Yeah I have a forum I run for gaming. and it's fun to play with.

One thing that impresses me a lot about Camaro5, is how it looks and feels and how well it works. I want to achieve the same for our team site.

You've got a better engine in the ZL1, no AFM - Active Fuel Management.
It's also proven - the new engine isn't.

Some C7 components to be made in old Saturn plant.

Two General Motors plants 90 miles apart will be utilized to build the newest incarnation of the Chevrolet Corvette sports car.

The vehicle is assembled at the GM plant in Bowling Green, KY.

For the first time, some body components will be manufactured at the carmaker's plant in Spring Hill, TN.
Both plants are near Interstate 65. The Spring Hill plant is about 30 miles southwest of Nashville.

Spring Hill plant spokeswoman Lee Ann Williams-Maley said the plant will mold the front and rear facias for the Corvette - essentially the front and rear bumpers.
The Spring Hill plant was built to make the Saturn auto brand, which has been discontinued.

You guys have it backward - The ferrari california and f12 never looked like ferraris, they are front engined and have long hoods, sound like a familiar american sports car? To say the new vette looks too much like the california or f12 is to say it looks too much like a corvette...

So you don't know much about Ferrari then do you?? Because there are many front engine ferraris from back in the day. V8 and V12 cars. The corvette team blatantly copied Ferrari. Mostly the 599. But the entire car is Ferrari influenced. Hopefully with the next design it resembles the namesake. It looks good but only because the ferraris it copy's look good.
