We drove ours right at 3,000 miles in 10 days during Power Tour. I've done some major road trips in my time, but this was the first time where we would drive all day and I wouldn't get out sore or tired. We did 10-12 hours in one day getting up to Iowa, and even that wasn't bad. These cars are amazingly comfortable on long trips.

Oh, and a +1 for the Valentine. Best investment we made in college

I just did San Diego to Delaware and back for the 4th of July. The car is great for long trips. USE THE CRUISE CONTROL!!!!! I got pulled over 3 times. (Arizona, Texas, and Missouri) (5MPH over, A warning and 15MPH over)

Just watch your speed around the Vegas area especially if you're on the beltway, (215) and I-15. I can tell you this from practical experience. It seems that lately, they are trying to generate as much revenue from speeding tickets as they are from the Casinos. Use you cruise control. I usually set mine at 2-3 MPH over the speed limit.

Go slow around Vegas for sure. Cops everywhere looking for extra cash for the city.

I took my SS from Ct to South Florida and back, inc Valdosta. 3400 miles and no aches or paines.
It's the most comfortable car I've ever driven. Enjoy.

Man ever since I bought mine I've been itching to take a looooong trip somewhere but the gf is totally no fun on road trips, so I'll either have to go by myself or get a new gf.

P.S. Where you from? I'm from the Mission area.

Yup! Slow down in Vegas or you'll get a nice ticket and a hefty fine
