I have long tube headers, CAI, corsa, dyno tune (removed AFM, kept VVT and deleted TM) and from a dead stop I can't for the live of me break the tires loose either. My shop guy told me I'd need a stall if I wanted to achieve that in this car.

Have you run your car at the track?

I have the same mods as you (intake, full exhaust, tune) and I can easily spin my tires. I actually have traction issues from a dead stop (even on a well prepped track).

I've been thinking about getting drag radials to help the situation. But I've been told (by Camaro5 members running their L99s at the track) that the 20'' Drag Radials (Nittos) don't work all that well.

There's something wrong with your tune then. I can break loose with an ADM CAI, axle-back, and tune.

I had the same problem breaking the tire's loose ,couldn't do it at all. Fortunately i work at the GM tech center and they were having a ride along with different cars camaros ss's included. So i took one out and decided to do things to it that i didnt want to do with my own car, lol. Sure enough couldnt burn the tires in competition mode,D or S . So I remembered reading in one of the treads that u had to turn all the nanny controls off (by holding the traction control button down for 10 seconds). And sure as S#!T , laid a patch of rubber a block long. So i dropped the car off smelling like burnt rubber and went and tried it on mine . Laid rubber like no tommorrow.......

tried that too... to no avail. I will give it some more miles, let it loosen up a little more.

They're not really talking about burning out, just spinning...

10k miles on mine and burnouts are impossible in this car. I'm lucky to get a chirp going around a 90 degree corner at WOT
I didn't start driving her more aggressively until the temps went up so idk.

Of course it is nice to know that when dragging you don't have to worry about anything but stompin the gas when the light goes green

Never been to the track with this car. I can sometimes get a tiny chirp 1-2 and 2-3, but stop to flooring it, it just plants and goes. I emailed my tuner to see if he could look into the situation for me. My car put down 366 hp and 380 tq on a mustang dyno with all my mods. Seems to be a decent number for an A6.
