I would think that if it was the skip shift, it would display that in the DIC or whatever they may all it on the 6th gens. I know 2nd gear can be rough to get into in cold weather.

Nice choice!
Only thing on 2SS that I would have liked is the HUD, but I can live without it.

The MRC should have two settings (my ZL1 did, and the difference between the two was dramatic). I can't believe that you cannot tell the difference between tour and sport, and that they both feel like the non-MRC. Or does the SS with MRC not have different modes?

It does, Tour, Sport, and Track. I'm sure Track is very noticeable but I believe his point was it is hard to tell a difference between Tour/Sport on the MRC car versus the non-MRC car's ride. The non-MRC car I drove felt very buttoned down but at the same time the ride was very compliant.

Didn't buy it yet. But I think I will soon.. I can live without leather, HUD, Navi, Apple Car Play, and Ambient Lighting.. Just need NPP exhaust, sunroof, and MRC!!

I noticed that skip shift doesn't lock out 3rd, btw. Sometimes you can beat the lockout, you'll get the notice but still be able to shift into 2nd. Once I found I could go to 3rd, I've just done that during the times the car has "gotten me" with this "feature". (C7)

Might be late to this party, but it has been said by Al O and others in or around the Camaro team, that the standard suspension is basically the same as the Sport setting on MRC.

I have no need for MRC....car is fine without it for my needs. Rides good, handles great.

Yeah, I suppose that's true. Still don't know for myself though....
