Ordered Mine Today! Whoooo, Hoooo!

I found two unspoken for 2SSes on dealer lots and both were automatics and had more stuff on them then I wanted. So, I went to my favorite dealership with pre-approved loan, $1000 in cash, my military discount voucher and ordered my 2016 Camaro 2SS.

I got the Blue Velvet metallic with silver center stripe, NPP exhaust and the upgraded Nav audio system. It's a 6M. Now the hard part comes and that's the 6-8 week wait for it to be manufactured and delivered. If anyone has advice on how to track the car to delivery, I would sure appreciate feedback.

I will miss the Grand Sport which was the nicest car I've ever owned to date, but I'm sure this Camaro will be equally as loved! The dealership takes delivery of the Grand Sport tomorrow...they have a buyer!

Thanks for all the encouraging comments in hundreds of posts to many threads that gave me great advice. Now, I can hardly wait for it to get here!!

Congrats on the order, the wait will be killer for sure but totally worth it!! I would also sugest checking out the link Glen posted, it has a few very important steps to the ordering proces.

I honestly cant believe that we live in a time where the new camaro is stealing away current corvette owners. Thats unreal, but I understand. Its a badass new car.

We have a Paris, TX not far from me. I was thinking oh no. I just got home from the dealer ordering a Blue Velvet 2SS Convertible. 6M, Silver Rally Stripes and Ash Gray leather. MRC, NPP, Nav.

What color interior did you go with?

Yeah...that is weird. I loved my Vette, but I love the performance potential of the Camaro. It would easily have beaten my Bone stock Grand Sport.

I have been reading all the posts that seem remotely related to my current status. I will check the one Glen posted. It really will be terrible waiting on the car's arrival.
