Vortech vs ECS vs pro charger

If you had to pick between vortech, pro charger and ecs, which one would you pick and why?

When I started my SC research, I had my heart set on Procharger.

However, the more I learned, the more I liked Vortech. That's the route I went and couldn't be happier.

if I had to do it again I think I would still go Vortech if installing myself like I did. If shop installed, I'd go ECS.

It really depends on what kind of power your wanting. The ecs paxton novi 1500 is basically a self contained vortech t-trim and somewhat equivalent to a procharger d1sc. Vortech and paxton are the same company. The kits that vortech sells are either the smaller v3 si trim or larger ysi blower, the novi 1500 falls inbetween. For the price and power output you cant beat the ecs kit

All are good, but call Chris at ECS.....years of having put out a proven system and how close they are to you, give him a ring.

I'd go procharger. Not because I have one but because I've always believed the headunits were superior and I still believe that. Love how efficient my intercooler is also.

ECS hands-down.. Proven belt drive system, upgraded head unit over all others in the base kit, and ability to go 9's with their base kit if so desired (Supporting modifications needed).

We have sold a lot of the ECS kits, and having worked at ECS for a few years as their director I have some great knowledge on their systems. Feel free to ask any questions..

Oh and here is my personal car going 9.87 @ 136mph on a 1.47 60' with the base ECS kit, ARH full exhaust, Pfadt suspension, ECS cam upgrades, and a few other goodies!

I would definitely suggest the ECS kit, but maybe I'm biased?

All the major kits are very nice, we feel we have a very well engineered belt system that is a step above the others for pulley sizes and overall wear. The powder coating options are nice from us too.

Thanks guys!

I am happy w/ the ECS kit...just got mine installed last week...car made 622hp/605tq. Motor is pretty much stock (has ARH headers/cats), also has a 9" rear which supposedly sucks up some power.

i have the vortech v3 and really like the power my car makes....also the vortech kit comes with a 10 rib belt...and just to keep in mind if you want more out of the v3 you can always make it oil feed instead of being self contain and spin the blower even harder...the v3 head unit is under rated from vortech..its rated at 700 hp and it well exceeds that.
