You mean the rubber thing where the gauges go? Just pry that up? And click them in?

The gray trim piece that the rubber this sits in. Pry that up and it's pretty much plug and play.

Love my 2LS, but I can't lie and say I have no regrets. So I have upgraded a little...got the RS headlights and bought some nice wheels! Now I just need more power!

Oh no..your ruffling some feathers now. The v6 guys will be insulted, again.....they will mount a comeback with the release of their new cd..it will have chart topping hits like " 323hp is fast enough.." my v6 is as fast as the musclecars of days gone by" and lets not forget the party favourites "I could have bought an ss if I wanted"...and "how to get my v6 to sound like a v8" many more classics on one cd...act now ..you wont pay $15.99...nope ...not $9.99...not even $6.99...if you act fast you will pay only 3 easy payments of just $ 1.00 ..yep that's right. Order now and receive a snuggie as our gift to you...don't delay ..call now.

Of course im just throwing some fun into the so serious v6 and v8 chat...don't hate me because im beautiful ......
Of course I could switch this out for any raging debates we have on here..i just might.

rontammy0 is kinda out there. Say what you will about the annoying V8 champion/V6 bashing posts (which are frequent) the guy puts his heart and soul into each post. I commend the effort.

My only regret is not buying a used car, BUT besides that i love my 1ls. I am modding things here and there. Sure i have felt the need for more power already but hey, I'm 21. When i graduate and get a real job I'll get the next gen as an SS next time around:

My LS has been good to me so far. Respectable power, good looks, and for less than $20k new, I don't feel a need to complain about interior plastics. They're good enough.

Very happy 2LS owner here....

+ I didn't want the larger wheels, and thus more expensive tires.
+ I like the black heritage wheels, and would have picked up something similar looking over the other Camaro options.
+ I didn't want the RS suspension (figured that'd be better for track, so the stock is better for highway)
+ Every 2LT was an RS package anyway, which just bumped the prices up.
+ I like the old school look of the halogen lights.

- Wish I knew the Tap Shift wasn't actually in the 2LS.
- Fog lights are useful, but being black, not having them is growing on me. One of the only mods I'm considering doing.
- I may have had more fun with the 1LS, but I have a feeling that the 2LS was a better daily driver purchase (I couldn't find a 1LS without dealer added crap, like expensive wheels or pin stripes, etc)
