This thread must be a joke. Your going to drop $1,000 for this for the principal of this? Your doing something illegal, running red lights, and you wanna spend $1,000 to prove a point. I dont know who you are, but thats plain stupid in my opinion, and I hope this is a joke. You did something illegal, take the ticket, and forget your pride. Didnt your parents ever teach you to you reap what you sew. But, you would rather blow $1,000 to make a point on a technicality. That's insane. If you didnt do anything illegal you wouldnt have got a ticket in the first place buddy. I know your ticket wasnt $1,000. Sounds like you have a problem with authority.

If you have nothing better to do with your time and money than fight this in court just to make a point, I just feel bad for you man.

Are colored headlight bulbs permitted?

No, all headlamp bulbs must be white in color as defined by Society of Automotive Engineers and FMVSS 108. FMVSS 108 disallows any color coating on headlights and or headlight bulbs.

Law of Washington... you got sited wrong, but the law stated you cannot have headlamps other than white.

Instead of changing to white all together you can buy the dual color halos. I have amber/white ones. Just a suggestion.

Well that sucks,.. Areas to keep away from Bellevue,Renton,Kent,Auburn and Federal Way,.. I get pulled over for either tint too dark or exhaust to loud. Soon to get pulled over for;tinted tail lights and head lights. But will I change them hell no! car looks/sound too good, Ill just keep staking them tickets lol but good luck with your head lights,...
