Chevrolet is looking beyond the USA for 6th Gen sales. It will be a global Chevrolet which is good for all Camaro enthusiasts. It means there will be sufficient R & D funding to deliver cars with superior performance to the current 5th Gen.

Smaller
More engine options
Direct Injection
Turbos

No need to panic. The 6th Gen will absolutely have V8 engine options.
i swear to god if the 6th gen camaro looks like any of those..... i may lose all respect for chevy

I really dont see this as being the "6th generation" i see it as being "phase 2 of the 5th gen" just like how 67/68 was phase 1 of 1st gen and 69 was phase 2, 70-73 was phase 1 of 2nd gen and 74-81 was phase 2, 82-84 was phase 1 for 3rd gens and 85-92 was phase 2, and lastly (and most notably) 93-97 was phase 1 for 4th gen and 98-02 was phase 2

Some will argue "well its on a different platform which makes it different" i really dont agree. its the same styling, same power train, most likely will use the same suspension components, it'll be the same car with different styling and down-scaled weight and dimensions. However i know there will always be nay-sayers who will disagree with anything just for the sake of disagreeing but this is my take on it

This concept is probably too radical, but I can see a 6th Gen in it.

You can see the similarity in the design of the VOLT concept.

You can see how lowering the roof line would radically change this concept.

With a lower roof line, a Camaro grille...

Ed Welburn, Tom Peters, Bob Boniface and Sangyup Lee all influenced the 5th Gen. These are very talented people who push the envelope. The pushed it hard with the 5th Gen. There is no way that with an all new chassis there won't be an all new look to the 6th Gen. They will push the envelope again.

The next Mustang will be pushing the envelope as well.

I see a heavy GM influence in this rendering.

It will be smaller, lighter and have an IRS according to the rumors on the street.

Nice Jaguar. Idk what they did to their logo but it doesnt even look like a cat anymore, its like a horse or something

I dont see this looking like the next gen mustang at all. Remember what the 2010 mustang renderings and concepts looked like? Very, very much different than the finished product, and actually looked quite a bit similar to these (remember the concepts having gull-wing doors? yeah..cant trust ford renderings at all LOL) also i dont see Ford putting the blue oval on any mustang, its just tradition to give them their own Mustang emblem rather than the Ford emblem. I dont think Ford has ever actually put the Ford logo on a Mustang. I may be wrong but i cant recall any mustang actually having the blue oval on it. I know a few had the name "ford" in certain places but never the actual blue oval logo

Boom. I do, however kinda dig the rendering for the rear of the car. not a fan of the front.

if it looks like those renderings in the first post, i think it will be a hit. But by the time the Camaro comes out, ill be saving up for my next car. I already have a Camaro, dont need another. C63 AMG, Viper, or Corvette will be my next car.

I honestly wouldnt even rent these cars from Enterprise in the event that my Camaro was broken down from having 200,000 miles on it, much less buy one.
