Used to have that all the time on the RX8. Flashing the highs to show them what high beams really look like settles the matter, because if they were blinded before....

(The RX8 had some of the brightest high beams I'd ever owned - insta-daylight)

The consensus seems to be to give them a taste of their own medicine.. I can do that!

The new Explorers do create quite a bit of glare IMO. Do you give them a ticket every time or let them off with a warning? lol

My Maxima came with HID Xenons, back in 2002, not many cars had them so I too would get the high beam flash a lot. Surprised after so many years this is still happening. Oh well, do what a few have said and flash your highs back.

Something to consider is that if you flash the highs back at them is they may be blinded and veer into your lane.

Thought about that but then I figured if I wasn't heading right into them when they flashed me, then they probably won't be either

Is anyone else having this problem? It's very annoying getting high beams shined on me as they drive by, not to mention blinding, which is pretty dangerous I think everyone would agree.
I have this problem all the time. One time I was at a stop light and the car across from me cut on their brights and left them on and I was like OK

I proceeded to turn my brights on. They immediately cut theirs off. I bet they were like

Just teach them a lesson man

I was flashed several dozen times on my first night drive from Michigan to Tennessee. I also noticed that road signs were lighting up like I had on high beams. When I got home, I shined the low beams my garage door line and lowered the headlights on both sides an inch or so. It takes a long screwdriver and about 2 minutes. I've never been flashed since and this adjustment had no noticeable impact on night driving.

Same problem here constantly being flashed
Someone told me that it's probably the headlight lenses being clear because they are brand new
