Strue tower brace
Will the GM strut tower brace for the SS fit on a 2018 ZL1?

I went with the BMR...fits perfect, no rubs.

Would you think it would still fit with a stock blower lid? Love how it looks!

I put it on with the stock lid first, it fit just fine!

Thanks, I wonder why it doesn't have one from the factory like the 5th gen.

Convertible? Or hardtop and just for aesthetics? I thought Al was quoted somewhere saying the hardtop alpha chassis/suspension design does not benifit from a STB, so it’s just added unnecessary weight.

I needed more "shine" to pull off the engine bay look I wanted.
With the NX lid, BMR STB, and the Weapon-X valve covers, I had my s shine to offset the carbon fiber and red. |

As for when mine originally "rubbed" the underside of the hood, that was caused by bad offset angle hole drilling by BMR, however, they quickly made it right and gave me another which works perfectly! 3 months and 1,400 miles later, still happy with my decision and no issues! Cheers! |
