HEX Vents vs. 2014 SS Hood Vent

Guys, as you all know the 2014 Camaro models were announced yesterday. Clearly, we are a little concerned with OEM hood vent, so we wanted to get your opinions on that vent vs. HEX Vents.

I realize that since I have them I may tend to be somewhat biased but... I HONESTLY believe that the Hines hex vents look alot better. I like that they are dual, side by side, small'ish ones set back a little farther on the cowl as opposed to one medium sized one farther forward. The new Chevy one just kind of looks out of place. Enjoy the scenic background of my first pic (garbage pickup day).

Hex Vents look 1000000000 times better. The new vent looks like an afterthought

Thanks a lot guys! I agree that the new vent looks out of place, and that the new vent is an afterthought. Also, I am a bit biased too since both of my Camaros have the vents, but I truly believe that the design with two symmetrical vents it a lot better.

Yes! I do not like the tail lights or vent at all. Sadly, the vent does what HEX Vents do, and it's included in the standard design. Not a big fan of the 2014 Camaro.

It's not included on the v6 model as far as I know so you'll probably get more than a few v6 owners buying hex vents. And if anyone hates the standard vent, you'll see lots of people start to trade hoods to get hex vents. It's kinda how people currently trade read deck lids to put on other spoilers. Same thing really. I'd trade a hood with the standard vent for a blank one to put hex vents on in a heartbeat

The more I look at the new Z28 the more I like it. Having said that glad I have a 2010. GM vent looks cheap IMO and the Hex Vents look TONS better. The new Z28 a different beast all together, but could have made better tail lights for sure

I don't mind the 2014 vent but I own a 2010 and a 2013 SS

Hex vents for the win!

I actually like the new hood and the Hex vents are nice but they are WAY overpriced IMO.

You know I'm voting Hex over new style, however, I like the finished look underneath compared to my rough cut hood liner or those silver trays.

Taken at the auto show today
