I'm curious, if you could afford the ZR1 would you have go one? Because I'm thinking when I got the money and the prices drop, to get a Z06 or a ZR1.

I was looking at buying a ZR1 but just couldn't pull myself to being able to nail the throttle mid-corner and come out alive! So honestly... No! I'm not a giant fan of PTM or Launch Control and such driver's assists (hints 2008 Z06) not because I'm "cool" but for alone the demeanor of the car that the driver is in full control. A 427 N/A is perfect for me.. some like the Supercharger sound and feel. My 427 with just a B&B exhaust is plenty loud enough to get pulled over.. If it's to track, Z07 is perfection with the Z06 right behind... if it's to look cool and sound good will being the "Boulevard Bruiser" then ZR1. This is all my opinion, yes I know the ZR1 is FASTER but for my tastes and wants, the Z06 is about as perfect of a car as I could have. Props to because either way you go... You're going to have one of the best (super)cars in the world!

Haha perfectly understandable! I love my 1987 because it doesn't even have traction control. Spins tires most of first, chirps into second and pulls nice for 240hp and 345tq until 120. (off-road on track) I've always wanted a Z06, but also like the ZR1. I plan on a future C6 but can't decide which one. I understand the Z06 is better for high horsepower with properly built engine. But am also wondering how far the R2300 supercharger can go, I know it's not the best idea but questioning compound boost or twin charging. Thanks for your opinion, and loving eveything about your car!
