Invos? I figured you'd go stickier considering your plans. What size tire and wheel did you end up with?

Got the plug wires the other day, thanks. Let me know if you want anything for shipping. It could pay for a stick of polishing compound...a paypal transfer is about all I can do in 5 minutes. Hoping to get the power steering bracket done before I leave but I have a woodworking project I'm halfway through too.

Thanks EZ and I agree, this frame would look killer in your car!

By the way, you know your not going to be the only one here with a detailed belly pan, do you? Wait till you see what is being delivered tomorrow .

315 and 295/20's. The 295 are huge compare to the stock front tires.

69, I'm hoping it's does both. I'm shooting for a well balance car. The goal is 600 to 650hp to the flywheel NA and drop about 400 lbs. Somwhere in the thread are the details on the engine. Summery, 418 stroker, Lingfelter heads and cam. (Which I might replace the heads just to get a bit more power). Ported intake and throttle body, Meziere EWP, headers, etc. I've done everything I can think to do and still keep it NA. Going to be replacing the Comp trunnions with Yellaterra that i got last week. I haven't even started the engine and I'm already replacing parts, LOL I'm looking at replacing the intake manifold with a carbon setup but thats in the works.

So the primary is performance just taking the time to detail stuff as I go.

On the tires, these are my street tires setup. By the way, I got my UPS tracking # for the wheels today Again, these will be my kick around town wheels/tiresetup.

Glad you got the plug wires and don't worry about the shipping, it' on me.

LOL, Kinda be a waste to put a carbon fiber drive shaft, 1400hp axles, etc, etc, etc....... and not beat on it!

I might even go FI in the future, who knows

2 sets? If I had that kinda cash in college I'd be dead or in jail. I was an Aristocrat Vodka, Ramen Noodle, and 2 jobs kind of guy. And anyone who's ever drank Aristocrat knows how big of a sacrifice that is. When you decide to scrap your motor for a sleeved ERL 500CI to smooth and polish you keep me in mind. I'll even pay shipping.

I will take a pictures of the connector to show how it came off. It's just that the car is completely covered up from the priming on Saturday. So I can't get in to the interior till I undo the masking.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Quick Update: I dropped off a bunch of stuff at the powder coater today.

These are an in-progress pictures of the trans mount. I forgot to take pictures of it completed, but all the little circles were grounded smooth.

Attachment 467335

Again, another before pic but no after picture. All the seams and casting were grounded smooth.

Attachment 467336

Since I am taking the complete suspension apart, I figured I'd detail everything! The one on the right is still in progress. Still need to work on it some more. The red circle on the upright on the left highlights two more humps that I will also be grinding off. The one that has a bolt hole is to mount the back plate for the stock brakes, but since the stock brakes are going, there's no need for the extra ounces of aluminum, LOL... So I'm grinding it off.

Attachment 467338

Attachment 467339

Again, still a work in progress. You can see where I have to still remove a little bit of the seams that's left. All the flat parts where the bolts are will be polished to a chrome-like finish and the rest will be painted.

Attachment 467340

Here you can see a side by side comparison.

Attachment 467341

It was a hell of a PITA to detach the control arm from the spindle. I took it to my friend's shop from church. We first tried pressing it out but it was a no go.

Attachment 467342

Finally after several failed attempts, we decided to give it heat and it finally popped.

Attachment 467343

Received my frame on Friday and all I can say is WOW!!!

Attachment 467344

My decision to incorporate Pfadt suspension components has forced me to bring every other part of the build to next level. As their pieces are an engineering ART piece.

Attachment 467345

The level of workmanship is over the top. All the welds are this nice!

Attachment 467348

Attachment 467349

Attachment 467350

Here's a picture of my powder coater's shop. The oven is large enough to do a complete car.

Attachment 467351

On a side note, received my street tires today, Nitto Invos! that is a lot of meat!

Attachment 467352
Whoa!!!

Man those uprights look good!
