2023 ZL1 Alpha Platform Question

I've searched the internet for a schematic or photo of the Alpha chassis on the ZL1. Does anyone know where to find this information? https://www.camaro6.com/forums/image...s/confused.gif

Not clear what you are searching for; GM doesn't focus on the bottom of the car typically when doing media shots. This however >>

There are undercarriage shots that GM did. Just Google 6th gen ZL1 (or Camaro) undercarraige and look at the images that pop up. That's probably all you're going to find.

This video was a good find. They have other good videos on the ZL1 too. Thanks for posting.

That video was tough to watch. It wasn't presented too well, nor used good terms to describe some of the features. They don't even sound like car guys, IMO.

To each his own.

Savagegeese gets under a ZLE and they point out some things. Might be useful for you. The channel has been known to go pretty in depth (for a YouTube channel) to engineering changes and processes when a manufacturer gives them access (like the T-Rex and Lucid) but of course GM didn't so they just have it on the lift.

The "How It's Made" dream cars video isn't half bad either of you want a look inside LGR. Edit: looks like it's behind a paywall now, unfortunately

Iv'e seen the photo's of the undercarriage. I was wondering if there where pictures of the actual frame without the skin. It seem's like you can look up any sports cars naked chassis, no motor or equipment just the alpha frame.

The Camaro is a unitized or unibody construction. It’s not going to have a frame as in your picture. It’s not a Viper or Corvette. Your Best bet would be the collision manuals available to auto body shops. They will have skeletonized assembly and datum points.
