American Racing Headers Does It Again! Quad Exhaust

Well this was a mod that took a little longer than I expected. First I tried to have the rear diffuser custom made a certain way which didn't work out. Then I ordered one with the holes already widened by a fellow camaro5 member. When I got it from UPS both ends unfortunately were cracked. So I had my good friend at Radiance Autobody here in Deer Park Long Island do his magic and fix up the diffuser, sand it down and paint it Red Jewel to match the car. Perfect! Now off to ARH to have them make these tips fit. They really know there stuff. Dual 4 inch tips slightly rotated outwardly and staggered to the contour of the rear end of the car. Better than I could've even dreamed and the sound is only slightly louder when I get on it.

If anybody is interested in doing this and you plan on keeping the stock diffuser, you can only widen the holes inwardly so now ARH has the 4 inch quad tip design for an easy install. Here are some before and after pics.

Thanks everyone. Sound video clip will be up very soon. I purchased the modified rear diffuser from forum member/sponsor 2SSRS. I then had it smoothed and painted to match my car. So many compliments in the few short days that I've had it on the car.

I added a short video clip to the first post. Wish it was warm enough to shoot it with the top down. Oh well... spring is almost here.

Gorgeous! Do you have a P/N by chance? I assume these were designed for ARH cat- or axle-backs?

Thanks, These were designed for their mufflers so yes you would need at least their axle back. I'm not sure how they would line up with either stock or other after market exhausts. The best thing to do is call them and speak with Nick. Mention my red jewel vert. ARH - 866-982-1978

IMO - there is enough going on with the back of the Camaro w/out adding another pair of exhaust tips.

But....to each his own.
