Seat Recline

For you guys that have your cars or that have sat in one. Did you notice the seats wont recline back very far? My seats basically stop reclining at almost straight up and down. I am 5'9 and with my seat adjusted accordingly I cant get the front seat to touch the back like everyone else was posting unless I move the seat back more. It definitely wont recline that far. I am starting to think something is in backwards because the seat can damn near fold me in half but wont let me lean back at all almost.

Makes me happy mines stuck in QC. That really does suck though, hopefully GM will fix it.

I'm 6'5" 280 and fit in the car, the seat should go way back. I only had about 3/4" between the back of the drivers seat and the front of the rear passenger seat with the seat moved all the way back and reclined all the way back.

I sat in one yesterday at the Charlotte auto show, actually played with the driver seat, up/down, back and forth and recline. That one reclined fine.

I'll take a pic and post on my lunch. It didn't bother me at first but I don't think its right and if something is wrong I need to get it fixed now not later.

That must feel really uncomfortable. God, knows what it will do to your back if you continue sitting that way for too much longer. Kinda makes the car undriveable. And here I've been waiting 41 days and counting and you can't even drive your car because you can't sit in the seat.

I'd be going to the dealer and asking them why it doesn't recline.

I'm glad that mine is sitting at LGR and having someone go over everything with a fine tooth comb

I noticed that as well at the NewRoads deal....but, if you lower the seat it seems to also recline back and down at an angle....Try a lower setting and see if it tilts back. That lowering and raising adjustment for the seat bottom took some getting used to.

One of the drivers in the Find New Roads event, did complain about this too. I am not sure if they recline too much.

I felt the same way when I checked the cars out at the LA cross country tour stop. Almost felt like I was in a vette. The seat would just not lean back as far as I prefer.
