I'll definitely buy a skip shift disable harness.

Rev Match is something I'm really looking forward to!!

Just drove mine home from the dealership. In 24 miles it didn't engaged the skip-shift once. And I wasn't trying to avoid it. If you shift above about 2k or so it doesn't come on. Who shifts this car at 1700-1900 RPMs?!?! And the ActiveRevMatch and the car in track mode sounds amazing. I was driving very conservatively and the noise it was making was getting all kinds of looks and pics being taken.

Agreed, you actually have to TRY to hit 1-4 lockout. 1 thing I do not like is how sluggish it feels for a second which is normal but just because it's normal doesn't mean I have to like it lol.

Congratz on your purchase and taking delivery! Looking forward to the pics!

You're spinning below 1000rpm when you shift into fourth in that speed window in which skip-shift operates (15-19 mph). In fact at 15 mph, you're basically at idle - about 800 rpm. In fourth gear at those speeds, you've got less than 100 hp available to accelerate a 3700 lb car - so it's sluggish.

Aye, it is expected to be sluggish. Uses less resources of everything thus "better for mpg"

Skip Shift Eliminator Can be had from many of the after market vendors. I have one on my 2013 1LE. Just a matter of time. My dealer even put it on for me. They said we do Vette's all the time. <<<< Surprised one of the VENDORs hasn't already started selling them I paid $20.00.

I test drove a manual 2SS last week. I never activated the skip shift with normal stop and go driving. I had to try to get it to work and when it did shift from first to forth it really bogged down. Most people probably won't even know it's there. The rev match is excellent on down and up shifts. My Z has it and I love it glad to find it in this car too.
