Coilovers options for the SS 16 ?

Do we have any coilovers options at this point that the car can benefit from ?
And also how would this compare to the MRC from the dealer ?

Thinking of ohlins or KW but haven't found much info
Any recommendations for those who track their SS ?
And one Last question. What was use in the 5th z28 set up ?

Coilovers from BC are now available. You can get the standard OTS BC BR for under $1k. You can get them with Swift springs for a few hundred dollars more including custom valving for the springs.

I personally deal with Andrew at http://www.openroadtuning.com. He's already talked to BC and confirmed availability. If you go with the Swift springs and custom valving, expect a 2-3 week delay. 1-844-620-2708

Have you had previous experience with BCs? I have a set with the Swift springs on a different platform, and it rides terribly; much too stiff, and the spring rates are lower than what they supply on their standard setup. Maybe you've experienced something different, though... I just could not recommend the brand without first riding in a Camaro equipped with them.

Swift springs are a track spring. I wouldn't want them in my Daily Driver

Hmm might pick these up in the springtime. By then there should also be some other options.

I have and didn't have an issue. I have another set on order for a different platform which should arrive next week. I'll give a review of those when they arrive. The valving should match the spring rates and the rates when using Swift springs are custom, chosen by the customer usually. So it's possible that something became confused when ordering.

That's an incorrect statement. Swift springs can be used on a track. It;'s just a spring. But one that is made well with rates that are spec'd much closer and accurately then most OEM springs. Just mfg'd to better tolerances.

The spring rate is the rate, whatever you spec it out too.

OK, just thought I'd update a little. I had mentioned that I had some BC's on order for another platform (I haven't got around to ordering for the Camaro yet). They are installed and awesome. Ride quality is excellent. Rides like stock driving down the street with less body roll. There is absolutely nothing I can complain about, more importantly, my wife is happy (it's her car). And yes, BC Customs with Swift springs and custom valving to match the springs.
Really looking forward to getting them on the Camaro.
