304 Stainless 1-7/8” Headers and X-Pipe....$489!?!?!

So, fitment may be questionable until there’s some feedback from an actual buyer. And I know, I know, we should all support American workers and “Made in the USA” products whenever possible. But $489 for this just seems like a smokin’ deal! Or you can just get the headers for $329! Hmmm.... I bet the welds look like crap...or maybe not!?!?! Thoughts?

Looks like a catless system, and I didn't see a option for high flow cats to be added.

Wow that is dirt cheap... I'm a bit leery just because of the price, but if the quality is right that's a hell of a deal...

That is one area I don’t mind paying top dollar for. Gone down the cheap header road before, and it’s not worth it in the long run.

You are correct....totally catless!

The difference is a quality U.S. welder probably earns about 4-5 times what a foreign welder does! Places like ARH and Stainless Works gotta be able to pay those quality welders, and still turn a bit of profit. As well they should! I want American Welders (and other laborers) to make as much as they possibly can! I’m sure there is likely a easily recognizable difference in material quality and craftsmanship between these and say a pair of SW Headers. But still, at these prices, it’s kinda hard to stay 100% loyal to “Made in the USA”!

if they are made in house, thats a great deal assuming quality is up to par. But if they are having them made in you know where, then thats another thing!

Looks like we need a guinea pig fellas. If my plans didn't include twin turbos, that might be me. lol

Dang, that's half the price of a TSP kit, I'd be tempted to try them if they have 2" headers.
I didn't see any negative comments other than the typical leaks all kits have from that gen5 thread.

exactly. i'm on a budget myself, have some CA Performance test pipes right now and i'm debating on going headers, and these do look damn tempting.

Gladly paid for Kooks LT as the fitment and build quality were top notch. Luckily I did get them at basically dealer pricing.

I remember my first ebay Honda header purchase. Usually a Japan header was about $1300, a too small too poorly engineered in terms of HP, DC header was $800. Both very high quality. I paid $49.00 + shipping for the ebay header. Yep it was not as well made, yep it took some grinding to smooth out the ports, yep I knew I'd never buy another expensive header again.

and yet, all those who got speed engineering headers on their 5th gen on the camaro5 forum thread posted above have said that the fitment has been perfect... only complaints were of the clamps, causing minor leaks.
