Sounds like the dealer has no clue what they are doing...like Sledgehammer said above, allocation is needed for order to be submitted, so if the order is at 2000, then they obviously have allocation.

The allocation will come out slowly so don't
look for alot of orders to go in at one time. It
will be a slow ramp up of a completely new car
in a new assembly plant. Good quality is the
goal and that takes time!!

I know there are still new options being added but at what point in the process are the changes "locked in"?
