Non-RS with factory HID
Hello all,
I'm new to this forum and need some advice. I've recently purchased a 2015 2SS/1LE and love it. It def doesn't have the RS package but it does have HID. It also appears that the lights are the chevy ones. Before i figured out that I didn't have the RS, I brought it to the dealer to see if it was some kind of warrant issue. The problem is that the driver halo is only on about 10% of the time. They looked inside and saw that the wiring was cut and spliced in spots. They didn't have the time to mess with it until another day. My question to you all is, is it possible to put factory HID on a non HID car? What kind of issues would I run into if the previous owner did? Any fix ideas? Thanks, Greg |

yes it is i did it to my 2010 non rs and installed oem halo headlights the wiring definitely needs to be for hid they sell a harness to make it easy to do,look around this forum
