I paid $33k back in 2019. When does the value of these cars start to go back down hill? Or will they stay up for longer.
Right now here in NZ That car would sell for $56k USD to NZD- !!! around 90k

$45k is a great number, I would highly consider letting mine go for that price but in the end its really up to you and how much you love the car. I bought mine for a similar price in 2019 too, but also added $15k in upgrades. These cars are expensive to drive, but they are also really fun to drive so its worth it. I don't think I'm nearly done enjoying mine yet, maybe in another 3 years I might be there. Hopefully values are still up when it comes time to sell and I can get out for at least mid to high 30's.

I just wonder how collectible the zl1 will be in the future. I don’t see any 5th gen zl1’s in Rochester and only a handful of 6 gen zl1 around.

45k would be a mistake IMHO.

These cars will be going for 65k+ in a few years when we crawl out if the next recession that's about to hit. This generation of ZL1 is the perfect blend of old school muscle car looks with newer technology. Nothing on the road like it.

I agree. I have a '68 SS and a '13 Z. I like my '13 Z body much better than a Gen 2, 3, 4 or 6. Period.

100% agree with you. I do not get tired of looking at the 5th gen. The newer ones are ok but to me they do not have any of the heritage look of the previous generations. If GM stops making the Camaro like I keep hearing about and reading about then I hope our cars become more valuable and Collectable.

And this is why I’m leaning on keeping the car. Plus happy wife happy life. lol
