From what I remember it was a special request that needs to be done over the phone by your dealer with the help desk. They need to request a standard trunk lid. And then the RPO blade spoiler needs to be added to the order. The smaller LT RS spoiler isn't supposed to be available on the SS.

Bold move. C6 Z06 is one of my favorite cars on earth.

I also owned a 2009 Z06 3lz car. Loved it, but rarely drove it. I owned the car for 4 years and sold it with 2800 miles on it. The ls7 valve dropping scared me away from the car as well. Time to move into an ss .. drove an a8 2ss yesterday, more gizmos than I need or want. I will be ordering a 1ss npp 6 speed.

If nothing else, I'm sure you'll be able to find an LT owner that will trade deck lids with you. This is pretty common in the Subaru community.

I'm guessing you won't be the only one moving from a Vette to a Camaro. My dealer had an 08 or 09 z06 for just under 40, they took a 14 2ss rs on trade.

I don't see why this a stretch at all! I agree whole heartedly with your decision. The Z06 is a BAD BOY but your 6th Gen is nicer in almost every way. I'm jealous!! Congrats!

Thanks! I'm sure I'll enjoy the Camaro. The Z is a beast but the dynamics of the new Camaro is on a whole different level.
