I would love nothing more but to eat crow on this but we all know it won't happen. The zl1 will always be a great all around car but not stupid fast like the gt500 or hellcat.

I hope I eat crow too but I agree with you. The next ZL1 will be an awesome car no doubt and I will get one, but probably won't have the horsepower to claim the king of the hill in the horsepower war.

Rumors are the big reveal will be the Bullit. That will be a major letdown imo as I don't find anything deserving of such a reveal in an appearance package.

Fingers crossed for the GT500 as it is overdue and there doesn't seem to be anything groundbreaking in the design leaks.

I already saw an article on how AN announcement will be the Ford Edge ST...not sure if it will be THE announcement.

Hopefully they put the right head gaskets on these ones haha

I saw that, but I still expect some Mustang variant to be announced. If it is just the Edge ST that's a downer.

Side note Edge ST should have just stayed the Edge Sport but I do like that Ford is giving it a shot to spice up a CUV

Bullitt...take a GT, remove the wing, remove the badges, add a "Bullitt" badge some damn where, give it a special intake manifold that is remarkably similar to the standard GT IM, give it different mufflers, claim an extra 5-10 hp, and then charge an extra $5K-410K for it...and people will eat it up!! Good job Ford!!

I know right. How dare Ford make more profit on Mustang?! They have no right to make excellent ROI.

I agree. Bullitt doesn't seem all that special to me. After this long the 500 needs to show up. Especially with rumors of the z28 returning.

Ford just confirmed the GT500 is returning in 2019. 700+ HP, "the most powerful street legal vehicle Ford has ever produced"

Looks good, but still well over a year before anyone will get one. My guess a 2020 MY.
