Do you know what the difference between the ACR-X and the regular ACR is? Just curious.

That is an awesome time though!

The ACR-X starts as an ACR and then gets an eight-point roll cage with driver and passenger door bars, a racing seat, and a fuel cell. The engine gets headers and exhaust for an additional 40 hp, for a total of 640. Weight is reduced by about 120 pounds from the ACR, which is 40 pounds lighter than the Viper, and it gets a bunch of aerodynamic tweaks. To me it's time around the Ring is kind of irrelevant because the ACR-X is not street legal. They are built to race in the Dodge Viper Cup spec series.

it's puzzling how such an awesome car can come out of such a sh!tty company. Heck, even Fiat didn't understand it, which is why they took Vipers out of "Dodge" altogether.

Dude, seriously, there are many vehicles Dodge offers and has offered over the years that beats the bejesus out of their GM counterparts and the Viper came out when Dodge was coming out with the new LH cars, 94 Ram, the Stealth, the 1st gen Neon, etc, etc, all groundbreaking cars for their time. Honestly before 08 (and a lot after) you could easily describe most of what GM offered as crap cars for a crap company too. As for SRT, it is not only Dodges, it is a performance brand for the SRT-ized from Chrysler, Dodge, jeep, and even Ram if they had one. kind of more in line when SVT was at it's prime and only SVT certified dealerships sould and repair SVT vehicles and not every Ford dealership could.
