You put it a good way, and easy to remember: the menu screen changes override the toggle switch. 👍🏻

Technology beat me today! lol Thank you for attaching the settings table! I’m going to screenshot it, and stick it in my Camaro info album. Yes, I have one of those. Doesn’t everyone? lol Thank you very much for your response! Great info.

Yup, I also have one of those, created on the day I placed my order for this beau. Check out my level of craziness (13+ GB ), by far the largest of my car folders.

By the way, I did check out the 2018 Hot Wheels edition back in the day, even sat in one with the M6 trans (it's a great shifter indeed), and the entire exterior and interior looked very good and special. However, orange isn't really my thing and at the time I couldn't sell the idea of $5K for an appearance package even to myself. Either way, you have a wonderful Camaro

I’m a huge Halloween nut as well. When I decided, I wanted my toy to be a 2SS and an M6, I sold my 2017 to Vroom in 2021. I got a $1000 more from them, than I bought it for! lol I then started my search for my next, and more than likely, keep it forever, Camaro. I saw the Hot Wheels I have in a used ad from a Mercedes dealer in California. They had got it to put out front, and catch buyers eyes, due to its color, to come in and shop at their dealership. It had 1346 miles on it! I checked it out, thoroughly, and then worked a deal and closed transport to MA. I mainly wanted it for it being a “grab your attention” Camaro, with a manual and 2SS equipment. The fact that it was loaded, and it was a special edition, was gravy. Now, I figured it would be a fun car for people to look at, in small car shows. Thank you for your compliment on it. Congrats on owning a great 6th gen as well, with the best front end nose too!

I like that Chevy made it so that you can control each setting individually if you'd like. Granted, on a non-mag ride car that is M6, there's not a whole lot I can change. I leave exhaust locked in sport, and steering in sport, so all the button really does is change the throttle mapping, which I too leave in sport anyway, because I'm used to it.

With my M6 and noisy NPP exhaust I'm on the brink of swapping back, I've noticed one other thing about the mode and throttle.
It's not just a curve, it's its behavior. One extreme is obvious - snow/ice, you push or take your foot off the gas then wait what seems an eternity for it to react to the change, i.e. it dampens it. But the other goes to something I'd though was the track mode somehow making engine-braking effect greater; but the opposite. . . backfiring is worst in-gear engine braking with the NPP open. But sport is open too. . however, it doesn't backfire as much. The Non-Track modes basically 'put on a bit of gas' even when you're off the pedal where track doesn't. The modes keep your foot lightly on the gas - in certain conditions - to cut back on backfire. You can simulate this in track by engine-braking; but with your foot a tiny bit on the pedal. |

I still realt don't get it... If I have the exhaust in track, and the steering and suspension in auto, are they also in track independent of what mode I select with the button, or do they still adapt to the selected mode, and only the exhaust stay in track? |

Exactly. Any settings you change away from "auto" are locked to what you select and will not change with the driving mode; any settings you leave in "auto" will follow the driving mode.
