Getting a new SS?
So I decided to create this new thread...I currently have a 2012 ZL1 breathed on by a lingenfelter stage 1 package..592 hp at the wheels, plus I have a 2014 Nissan 370Z NISMO which is an awesome vehicle...my sister thought it was a porsche.. I am cosidering a 2016-2017 ss but I don't treally like the rear end or spoiler.. I like a great looking vehicle....so I am wondering about trading my NISMO 30 Z for a new SS...thoughts???

Well,,, you are on the Camaro forum, so most of the answers would be "Go for it", I think.
I do like any good cars, and I know Nismo Zs are good cars, so it's really up to what you like/you don't like about Nismo and what you are going to do with Camaro. If I were you, I probably would keep Nismo for a couple more years, and pick up SS 1LE in '17 or '18. |

You have to make this decision...a Camaro forum is not the right place unless you want to be pushed into buying the Camaro.
Weigh the pros and cons. Decide which one excites you more. Go with that.

2SS all the way! Go for it :-) There are easy cheap things you can do to the rear (even though I love it as is) like the blackout kit and I really believe there will be multiple options to replace the spoiler. Although I could always live with the current spoiler I am starting to learn.
P.S I love the 370Z also, amazing vehicle. |

I would keep the Nismo. You already have a ZL1 Camaro. If You want a new Camaro why not wait for the ZL1 and trade your ZL1 in for it?

If all that worries you is the spoiler than by the SS and replace the spoiler! There is already a OEM blade spoiler accessory that looks nice you can purchase and there will be a lot of aftermarket spoilers available soon or you can wait for copies of the futures ZL1/Z28 spoilers.
If you can wait for 2017 you might be able to a Zl1 then...who know for sure but we will know more about the future lineups next year.

The Nissan is a great car but leaves alot to desire when it comes to easy HP gains. Both cars will track well or daily driver well so that's a toss up. I'd say sell the Nissan and the zl1 to pay off a new SS. Awesome new paid for car and you'd free up some bankroll.
