A/C Hot Air at High Throttle
I’ve barely driven the car in the last few months but had it out this weekend. At WOT and anything close to it the car now blows hot air until I left off. I also generally feel like the A/C isn’t as cold as it used to be. The car would freeze you out in low but I had it there for a good 30 mins and while the air was cold it didn’t seem like it used to be.
Any ideas? Freon, vac lines or compressor maybe?

A lot of cars de- energize the compressor clutch under WOT, this frees up a few HP. I believe the Camaro does this, but I’m not 100% certain.
As far as not cooling under normal driving conditions, these are the most common culprits: Condenser fan not operating (engine bay) Low refrigerant Blend door stuck I’ve seen quite a few people here with a non functioning condenser fan. |

Interesting I’ve read the AC stays running on the 6th gen under WOT. I swear it didn’t do this before but may not have noticed it.
