Fishy buyer on PayPal or is it just me? Help!

Hello all, I am selling my camaro and I posted it on Craig's List. A husband text me and told me to email his wife if the car is still available so I did. Here is her response..
Thanks for your response...I hope it is in good condition? and there wont be any cause of disappointment if i purchase it from you?i wanted to buy this for my Dad. I am ready to pay the asking price. I'm an Ocean Engineer and am currently on sea right now which is strictly no calls. My Mode of payment is PayPal because i don't have access to my bank account online, but i have it attached to my PayPal account. Since I'm requesting this transaction to be done via PayPal, I will be responsible for all the PayPal fees/charges on this transaction, if you don't have an account with PayPal, it's pretty easy, safe and secure to open one. Just log on to www.paypal.com. I hope we can make this transaction as fast as possible. Less I forgot, I have a Mover that will come for it once payment is cleared in your PayPal account and they will be handling it for me, as I look forward to hearing from you with your PayPal information as requested below.

Your PayPal e-Mail Address :
Full name:
Firm Price:

Many Thanks

Smells fishy to me.. thoughts????

Probably smells fishy because they're an ocean engineer but seriously I would keep looking for buyers

I thought so too. The thing I don't understand is that she said she will wait for the payment to go through..

Once the payment goes through, what can they do?

I got a similar offer to buy my LS3 long block. The grammar is one tip off, The other was being out of the country. Funny how they like the disappointment aspect.

Message reads like most scams I have seen. Almost exactly.
Only part missing is the buyer offering even a little extra money for the inconvenience.

They will pay with a fake check, money order, or etc. It will clear the bank initally, but a couple of weeks later they will find out it is fake, then your screwed.

I had a person who claimed to be a captain in the Navy text me. Claimed they had no service and wanted me to email them. I just asked how they sent the original text. No response. If it smells fishy it is fishy
