I may not be the best critic. I am a home theater junky I can be entertained as long as movie is watchable plot wise and has top notch sound and visuals.

How true this is.

Back in the day, I had a Laserdisc player and a pretty good AV system for the time. Most laserdisc movies had the THX into, which was always fun to crank up.

Sometimes you have to give films a second chance. I did that with the Evil Dead remake, hated it at first, watched it a second time and loved it.

(Great) Movies I've watched over & over. These I actually went back to the movies
to see for a second time and then many more times on T/V.

Body Heat. Kathleen Turner, William Hurt.
Blade Runner. Harrison ford, Sean Young.
History Of Violence. Viggo Mortensen, Maria Bello.
Witness. Harrison Ford.

And Theres so many more classics. The new computerized junk, not at all.
Can't stand bullets that make sparks. lol

Wow didnt even know they were remaking this movie. Looks really stupid and the plot is dumb and gave away a lot in the trailer too. I vote this at the worst remake before seeing it.

The Thing (2011) was actually a prequel to the 1982 film by John Carpenter.

I have a feeling if they make this movie again, it will be on the list! I loved the first one because it was just over the top 80s.

Viggo Mortensen was in 'Witness'. One of the Amish. Might have been his first movie.
