Car looks great but photos don't do it justice. Too dark and bland, IMO, but like you said, they were shooting white cars. I do like the yellow glow of the lights in the rear.

I bet some post-processing would help. It's amazing what one can do with programs like Lightroom and Photoshop.

I was a professional commercial photographer in Los Angeles for years (made my full time living shooting advertising images for major national print). While your car is fantastic, these photos are far from professional. Perhaps a few strobes behind the vehicle to back light it may have saved the shots a little. Poor selection of background and location, IMHO. The problem with photography today is that DSLR's do everything programmed and everyone is a "professional photographer" just for owning one. Unfortunately, photography goes way beyond the programmed mode. Even for a white car, the background selection is not ideal. Angle, composition, and depth of field all seem off kilter.

Ditto! I would certainly never pay for those photos, if it were my car.

Hmm... All the photos seem crooked and the composition doesn't seem right...

Well, it was done by Krookid photography...

Does the photographer have a lazy eye by chance?

There you go, some nice work there. It's all about the composition!

I was married to a photographer, and this is not "pro" quality shots. Not saying anything negative about your car at all, but that these photos are not professional.

I understand your sentiments on the filters and editing, but isn't that what it comes down to? A professional works with everything he has at his disposal, be it back-lighting, bracketing, foreground setup, filters during and after, etc. to bring out not only the subject but also the surroundings in a way that the image as a whole makes a bigger impact on the viewer. The pics I posted up does just that. There is a LOT going on in the background but it is subtle enough that it never takes away from the subjects, it actually accentuates the subject and makes them pop! All that's happened in your shoot was that he blew out the concrete trying to capture your car; lots of overexposure. It's very hard to capture a dark car in the night, I'll give him that though...

Hey man, I think it looks pretty good.
yes there is some black on black washout, but as you said the shoot was set up for yellow cars.
The front passenger wheel really pops, and the yellow under lighting and black on black fading makes your car look very mysterious

have him re-do the photoshoot,

but this time balance the lighting equally on both sides or none at all. perhaps he has portable lighting that he can better illuminate with? second, advise him to get a tripod for camera, cuz the angle that he shot from makes the car look like it has too much rake.
