Currently 55 but by the end of the month will be 56, and by the time its at my dealer will be 57.
I mention on another post I've driven some nice cars in my twenties and early thirties and then the two kids came and went the more domesticated route.
But now kids are pretty much grown, house is almost paid off and my wife and I decided its time for us to have fun with new cars.
For me the LZ1 with some mods here and there.
For her an Audio TT.
Probably take turns on which car we use on the weekends for pleasure driving.
Honda Civic will still be her daily driver to work, unless she changes her mind.
Life begins again at 57 .

I will be 31 when this car hits the streets although I probably won't be ready to buy right away. We bought two new cars in the last two years and won't have them paid off until 2013 and 2014. I would guess we will buy my wife a new car and my ZL1 around the same time 2013 ish.

60 Ouch. Been waiting a long long time to be able to afford a car like this. Getting to the end of the "opportunity to enjoy" window. Now or never. And, NEVER has any vehicle since youth stirred the heartstings as much. The ZL1 IS special. History as in Living Legend. Close the Suez Canal, Middle east war, etc etc... too many things that prevent the making of vehicles like this. Life is short. Just my take. Go for it@

I am 40 and have owned 5 camaros since I was 18. I have two paid off vehicles and they are both boring. I need a toy. I was going to buy a used ZO6 but want 4 seats because I have a couple of little boys who will want to ride in it. I have been going back and forth between a mustang and a camaro. The new Mustang GT is a great car but I have always been a Chevy guy. I can't see out of the "C" pillar very well in the camaro but I don't plan on looking over my shoulder very much. I am so happy that Chevrolet is going to build the ZL1. I was going to order a green 2SS with white stripes but now I have to hold off for this beast. I have a feeling this thing is going to be well north of 50 grand though. I hope they keep it in the GT500 range. I have a feeling dealers will be gouging.

ffcobra_65 that is a bad ass Shelby in your signature.

I will be 61 when I drive this bad boy home and park it next to it's slightly older cousin, my 67 Vette. Time is precious and should be enjoyed to the fullest while we are still alive. In my next life I want to come back as a Victoria Secret Brassier Fitting Specialist.

You absolutely go out and get this car, if you can afford it!!
I brought my son up, who is now 23, racing Karts and now rides a Yamaha R1 and is capable of racing anything. And he knows the street is not a racetrack because of this upbringing.
He will be driving my ZL1 on occasion.
If he can do it so can you.
Just remember one thing. The throtttle works in both directions, don't have it on the floor all the time and you'll stay out of trouble.
And never drink and drive.

Have fun!!
