The only thing I don't like about my RS package is the chrome strip across the front (I blacked it out, so a non-issue). Everything else I really like.

I like mine too. I think the headlights and tail lights look so much better on the RS pkg... but, it's all personal preference...

rs look or the non rs look?
Interestingly enough, it's a slightly different approach to answering this question, depending if the Camaro is a facelift model 2014, or 2010-13. Since the OP owns a 2014...... |

If ya wanna spend the extra 1K on the package then go for it! Just make sure you get that NNP (assuming your not upgrading the exhaust w/aftermarket parts)

For 2010-2013 cars, I prefer the RS. On 2014 cars, I prefer the NON RS. The HID's and tinted taillights on the '10-'13 completes the entire look of the car. However, I'm not a big fan of the LED tails and HID lights on the 2014 RS cars. The headlights look too far spaced and out of proportion. The RS tails look kinda funny with the backup light lenses running down the length of the taillight assembly.

2014... I like the rs headlights but not the chrome strips. I also don't like the rs taillights
Sent from the road.

I like the body color match but the non RS is all business.

Regarding 2013 none-RS models, I can almost swear they installed RS tinted tails on my none-RS. I've always wanted to mention this in the past in other discussions as well, but never bothered. Wondering if it was a 2013 thing, or a fluke.....but I guess that's an other topic for an other thread elsewhere.

So if I am switching my '11 over to a '14 front bumper and I don't like the RS chrome strip, I can do the standard NON-RS bumper but use the RS HID lights, correct?

Personally, it dawned on me that I couldn't see those cool halos while I was driving the car. Everybody else got to think that looked cool...except for me...so I stopped giving a hoot and was happy that I saved some dough

I wasn't a big fan of the halos period so I had to special order mine without the RS package. I did want HID so I had to retrofit some aftermarket ones. I was going for the 1st Gen look so Halogen headlights got that for me. I'm not going to bash the '14 models other than to say I'm not a fan either way but I'm also betting the RS option won't be quite as popular as it was before. It's all a personal preference.
