Ordering 2024 in riptide blue

Should/can I put a deposit down now on a 2024 Riptide blue lt1 even though GM hasn't officially stated this is a 2024 color? Do/should I wait till 6/15? Or wait till GM makes an official announcement?

I already have a deposit in at dealer to place an order. I am waiting on the order book to be released from GM to let the dealer know exactly what I want. GM will have to release it any day now.

The problem is I am not sure what I want. I have a budget around $50k but the problem is that several good options fall under that. At least narrowed down the color to a nitro yellow or a collectors edition. Normally I would have been all over a collectors edition but since I live in FL a little hesitant on going all black.

Good to know, thanks. I should stop at a dealer today then. PS, just go Nitro. Getting CE might be a nightmare, plus lotso $. If it doesn't much matter which, spend the extra $ on options instead. Imo

Good choice. Think we'll get our cars by Christmas? I'm hoping so. That will be a great excuse for me to not afford Christmas gifts, 'Sorry stepmom Sally, I'm broke'

I’m going to put an order in on Riptide Blue. I figure there will be a long wait line for it.

The color is official. Don't wait. Expect it to not be available right from the start though. They always roll out new colors slowly so it might be a few weeks before it's not on constraint.

Ahhh, Gearhead, I can't BELIEVE you called nitro. I thought that was full of #^%, the only one that called that color. Spot on.

I'll be at my dealer 6/15 to drop a deposit on a Riptide Blue LT-1. I didn't like the Riverside or Rapid Blue.

Same here I always liked the hyper blue I think it was back in 2019 and couldn’t get it now but always wanted the camaro in a colour just didnt like any. So I ordered black but never got allocation yet so i’ve already told both dealers i have orders with to switch them to the riptide blue. I’m alot happier now that i’m able to get a colour I know i’m going to love!
