Once that happens and you find the perfect one, the money issue will slowly fade into oblivion and you'll end up with a great car, whereas constantly having to fix this and that will sap your enthusiasm and joy.

I know waiting sucks, but if it's any consolation, I can't (won't) drive mine either until March because of the temperature and the insane local salting regimen. At least you have some time to zero in on the best of the best
Great advice. Thanks, I'll be doing this. Thanks

You could've bought it, gotten a new set of wheels and tires for a few grand, fixed the issues, but by then you're getting close to 30 grand and at that price point you could find a 17 or 18 1SS with no issues for the same money. Consider lowering your standards a bit. Be realistic--you can't really afford a 2SS. Would you be open to getting a 1SS? That would significantly widen your options for finding an awesome car

SS wheels are staggered. It's likely the tail end of the second set. I got some 17,000 out of the factory tires before replacing them.

I think I would sacrifice year and lower mileage for the luxuries of the 2SS. I really like the HUD, heated/cooled leather seats, BOSE and heated steering wheel. I think I would regret not getting those options if I got the 1SS.
