GM pedal covers
Does anyone have the GM pedal covers yet? Looking for a picture of them installed.
Pedal Cover 84134668 These brushed aluminium Pedal Covers with raised rubber traction surfaces replace existing brake and accelerator pedals to provide a sporty yet elegant finish to your interior. The picture that GM shows is the actual pedal from the 5 gen pedal covers. The picture for the 5 gen pedals is something different also, it looks like chrome instead of the brushed aluminum.

amazon had some nice brushed aluminum with raised rubber grips covers that very nearly perfectly fit that were super cheap.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If the GM ones are selling for more than 30 bucks than they're far too expensive. (the go pedal is a bit short of a perfect fit) |

Factory GM Pedals
Hello,
These are the GM factory's optional metal pedals on my 17 6th gen; they are about a week old with 650 miles on them. They are very nice and grip well with a variety of footwear including sandals, tennis, and pointy toed dress shoes. I find them to be very comfortable. I mistakenly identified the old gas pedal as a different left foot rest (I deleted the sentence). I like them very much. Kindest, Donner Last edited by Donner; 10-22-2016 at 05:56 PM. Those don't actually look half bad, and was not expecting the foot rest to come with replacement. Can you confirm that it is part #84134668?

The kit does not come with the 'dead pedal'. Only comes with the brake/clutch/gas.
Got it a few week ago

Ah ok, I'm only interested in these for cosmetic value as I think the stock covers work well and have a nice grip to them.

and the gas pedal replaces the whole assembly. It is not simply a cover. I really like mine.

Sport Pedals Kit
Hello,
I ordered the Sport Pedals Kit when I purchased the car. It did not come with the left foot rest (as I had mistakenly said earlier). Here are a couple of images of the window sticker and a blow up of the dealer added parts. I'll dig through the buy sheet to see if I can find the part number. I selected them as an option when I ordered my car. Kindest, Donner Last edited by Donner; 06-20-2017 at 08:42 PM. |

Gotta agree. Installed these myself and kit did NOT come with the "dead pedal".

Pedal Covers Update
Hello,
It looks like there are two different sets of pedal covers. The version that I purchased as a part of my order for $180 is shown in the LPO guide (see links below). The set I have is a tad more pricey than $140 dollar Pedal Covers that are listed as accessories (and they look different too). I mistook the old gas pedal as a rest. My bad. Interesting. I wonder if the slightly raised dead pedal is much different from regular ones.
I'd like to get a set and install them myself, but didn't find a solid answer whether the gas pedal requires an ECM recalibration or not. Only saw reviews saying that they 'feel' the same.

These are the pedal covers installed in my car, which is the A8. There are two different model numbers because one is for the automatic and one is for the manual. The manual pedal covers are more expensive because there is 3 pedals, not 2.

Anyone try the ATS-V sport pedals? They look exactly the same and they DO come with the dead pedal for $122
