Dumb question...how is the brake pedal cover applied? Do you have to mangle the old one off and wrestle the new one on?

You have to take off the rubber pedal covers to install the new ones. The gas pedal has a bolt in the floor and also a plug in to install the gas pedal. Shouldn't be any problem with the gas pedal programming. It doesn't need it. I installed mine several months ago and I really like them. Much better than the OEM ones and they are the same as is put in the new ZL1 Camaros. You have to stretch and pull the covers to install on the pedals which made my fingertips sore for a few days but everything worked out!

The auto version is simple to get on and off.... the manual takes a bit more effort...... dishsoap is your friend....... along with a medium screwdriver......

Yeah I didn't think about using dish soap which would make it easier to install.

I have installed these also and the kit does not include the dead-pedal. The current part number (84134669) is the same for the ATS-V and Camaro. The original part number (23390862) may have included the dead-pedal and could be the reason one is shown in the catalog photograph?

I am curious to see if anyone actually has them installed in a 6th gen Camaro.

The dead pedal in the ATS is different from the Camaro's, you can easily from pictures.
