Not early at all. It takes a few months on the actual assembly line itself before they will get up to speed.

Go above 55mph on the highway in one of their Camaros it'll just be you sliding down the road in the drivers seat with a steering wheel in your hands.

14 out of 15 had defects. Training better pay off or they should have just let one of the most top quality rated plants, Oshawa Assembly build it.

Baggy clothes, loose hair and wrist bands? Yeah, not the best stuff to be wearing in an industrial setting.

Yeeeeaaaah......I believe if I was GM, I would had NOT released these pics, or the 14 of 15 information. Nothing about this is encouraging to me....quite the opposite actually.

Well, according the article...

Quote:
No one wanted to pull the stop line for help.

“Not everyone wants to pull the cord, but their problems will get bigger if they don’t,” said Jason Smith, a team leader for the trainees. The exercise was meant to teach them that.
The whole point was for them to mess up and learn that it is acceptable to stop and ask for help. Also, these were just wooden cars (obviously), only used for training. I'd rather them mess up 93.33% of wooden cars when they're supposed to than any actual 6th gens!

Yes. I read the article. But exactly how deep does one need to be to build something like that?lol There are 6yr olds in China building MUCH more complicated things. These are adults working in Santa's Workshop, and 14 of 15 were still messed up!? Lol Ive heard "Cant fix stupid". I lean the same way with TRAINING. Hopefully they filter the mechanically inept out while they are at it.

Can't believe they released this, like it's good news.

Put them in a god damn uniform that won't scratch or damage the car.

Also looks like they will hire anybody. What's the pay? Is it not enough to hire people with mechanical aptitude?
