Incase you didnt see it the 14's have a flat area in the center on the lower grill that was designed for plates to mount there so you wouldn't have to drill into the bumper.

14s plate holder doesnt go into the bumper. It has its own area as stated before.

They still want you to drill... no? So I'm guessing no one has come up with a clip system.... time to get to work.....maybe as simple as zip ties that can be cut off

wondering if anyone knows how to remove the 2014 front license plate bracket once it has already been installed by the dealer?

I just shoved my extra plate (still in the plastic) up on the dash. I'll gladly pay the ticket rather than drilling into the front bumper or zip tying the thing to the grill. The JacFab option may be in my future, but for now, I just don't intend on getting pulled over ;-)

I wonder if that would work with the splitter on my 1LE (can't tell from the pics). Police would probably still ticket though as it wouldn't be showing all the time. I've heard they use the license plate as a surface to point the lasers at when they check speed (not sure that is true).
